I am going sledding....
Tomorrow on Saturday Mark Shaede from Revelstoke Snomobile is taking me sledding up on Boulder Mounatain with a bunch of other guys from Alberta and Saskatchewan. We have had a lite dusting of snow in Revelstoke. Not sure what is on top but this will be my first time sledding in the mountains. I hope I do not get scared cause I have heard guys bigger than me cry with fear when then get up there...

Kevan takes Jen up Boulder for the 1st time....

We drove up Boulder Mountain to see for ourselves what it is like up there. I have been up there a few times without Jen but this was the first time for her. Need less to say she created claw marks on the arm rests. Kevan you are going to fast -- slow down -- oh my god we are going to die...... I said chill take a pill but some times you can not reason with the opposite sex! This was one of the few times I got to drive her truck cause I think she is scared of heights or ice or snow or me!
This is about 6km up Boulder Mountain and was as far as we could drive. Lots of snow and this is were there start grooming the trails. Check out the grooming conditions here .
This is one of the machines that is used to groom the trails on Boulder Mountain and Frisbey Ridge.

Wow time for a break.... This is me by Jen's truck at the 6km point up on Boulder Mountain which is as far as you can drive in the snow. This is the last unload spot for your sleds. From here the trails are groomed and you can not dive any further.

This is Jen.... She made it up! Lots of trucks and sleds on Boulder Mountain.....

This ice formation is on highway #23 on the way down from Boulder Mountain just before highway #1.

Another view of the same ice formations.
With a bit of luck if I can get a sled I will be going sledding with a bunch of guests tomorrow (Friday). Wish me luck!
